Volta was established in 2010 to apply for the Ormonde license in the 26th UK Offshore Licensing Round.  Volta proposed an innovative offshore power generation project tied into an adjacent wind farm development.

 

Volta will be a significant player in the UK offshore industry, building a substantial oil and gas production business targeting lower risk discovered resources
